I’ve never been particularly interested in doing things simply because that’s the way they’ve always been done.
I’m Tia Nicole.
I’ve spent much of my life examining the rules we inherit, the expectations we absorb, and the definitions of success we’re handed before we’re old enough to decide whether any of them actually make sense for us.
I’ve built a career. I’ve left one. I’ve started businesses, written books, changed directions, started over, and learned that sometimes growth looks less like adding something new and more like having the courage to leave behind what no longer serves you.
That’s something I believe deeply: you are allowed to outgrow your own life.
The career. The relationship. The goal. The version of success you once wanted. The plan you were certain you’d follow. Even the version of yourself who made those decisions in the first place.
Changing your mind isn’t always a sign that you got it wrong. Sometimes it means you finally have enough information to choose differently.
That idea sits at the heart of Tia Nicole Speaks.
This is where I examine work, adulthood, ambition, culture, success, and the assumptions hiding in plain sight. I’m interested in the things we call normal simply because nobody stopped long enough to ask who decided they should be.
I don’t believe every convention needs to be rejected. I just think it deserves to be examined.
And I’m not interested in building a platform where I do all the talking. I’ll tell you what I think. You can agree, disagree, add another perspective, or ask a better question.
Because the goal was never to get everyone to think like me.
The goal is to get us thinking.
I don’t have all the answers.
I’m not particularly interested in pretending that I do.
But I’ve got questions.
Come think with me.
XOXO,
